I went on the Big Bus tour on a Wednesday night and I found it to be a decent experience.Things have definitely bounced back from the pandemic as there were tons of people waiting to get on the bus!
Logistically, I found booking the tour and downloading my voucher to be a very seamless experience. Also, the staff at the office were very responsive when I called about your specifics and needing directions to the actual pick up place. We were not allowed to bring food on the bus primarily because we had to wear masks per regulation. Although we were advised in the confirmation to be at the pick up place by 630, we actually didn’t get rolling until after 7 PM due to the crowds.
The tour route itself was very good. It gave you a glimpse of all of the key places in Las Vegas( both the strip and the old part). It’s a good route to take in the beginning of your trip if you’re not too familiar with Vegas and are interested in learning about the various attractions. There wasn’t much flexibility; the tour leaves you for one hour at Fremont Street whether you want to go or not.
The tour guide had good knowledge but was a bit annoying. She kept complaining about losing her voice and the fact that she had been giving tour since 9 o’clock that morning. She kept a forced ‘call and response’ throughout the evening which was a bit much.
Overall, I would recommend the store if you’re looking for an overview of Vegas and you’re looking for a relatively laid-back experience.
