Our family had 3 children - ages 11, 8 and 7 all whom had never been before and didn't know what to expect. In addition, there were 2 adults, one of whom was very anxious.Tyler was our guide and John assisted him and they couldn't have been better with the kids who LOVED the ride. This canyon is better than Brown's Canyon. Tyler also gave us history of the area and noted points of interest - which I appreciate. We felt safe with him. The youngest one was in the very front and was shivering cold and holding on for dear life, but when he got out he said he wanted to go again! I would recommend the water jackets they offer - seem hot when you put them on but once you get wet will be of great benefit.

We first went out with Lost Paddle last summer. Our very first rafting trip, and it was mellow and a perfect entry for our then 9-year-old daughter. This summer, we went back with family and the water was running high - very exciting. We had Frank as a guide and loved every minute of it! So we took more friends back with us a week later! Maddy was our guide and our experience was a bit more adventurous. A boat behind us lost a paddler and Maddy reacted SO quickly to get our boat turned around, paddling toward and helping the floating swimmer, who was terrified but unharmed. She is a true expert, made us feel very safe but also gave our kids an amazing experience on the river. We'll be back again and again!

We originally booked the Royal Gorge Half Day, but the water was too high, so they moved us over to the Bighorn Sheep Canyon! Since the water was high as well, there were some more intense rapids! We had such a blast paddling through all sorts of rapid classes! Rabbit was not only knowledgeable about what we need to do, he was also just a fun relatable guy! This is the smallest company in Canon City and I would highly recommend them. You do not get lost in the mix!
