Had an absolute blast going down the Bighorn. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable, and a great guide. Highly recommend going with Lost Paddle!

Beautiful scenery, but not much excitement with the low river conditions around 400 fps. Heavier groups frequently got hung up on rocks, while lighter groups like our seemed to manage better. Glad I was able to save a bit with Lost Paddle's rates vs some of the other local outfitters closer to the launch point. Be sure to check water flow conditions yourself, and set your expectations accordingly. Low water will be more like a float and not so much a thrilling whitewater experience. It seems like a flow rate closer to 1000 fps or more would be a lot more fun... Check USGS 07094500 gauge reports.

It was a fantastic experience. My 10-year-old daughter accidentally got thrown in the water but with the joint effort of the professional crew and the friendly passenger, she was pulled out very quickly. She was a bit shocked but no tears shed. And she said that was definitely the highlight of the entire trip! Highly recommended! My husband and teenage son experienced the Royal Gorge Rafting and had a blast. We are planning on going back for a full day fun next time.
