The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.

The vessel is the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessel is custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms. The Vessels are equipped with state of the art navigation and fish finding equipment.

The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

I was apprehensive at first going out drift fishing but the crew made me feel right at home and provided some great entertainment, they were very encouraging and helpful.

Crew was great, comfortable accommodations , and we caught 4 fish while we able to watch the other 40 people catch about the same amount.

What a wonderfully pleasant and highly professional crew. These guys set the bar for fun and relaxation. They are so attentive and efficient it was amazing. I think large company CEOs can learn a lot about how a great team works together, provides safety, and enjoyment to their clients. Top notch! You guys rock!
