The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.

The vessel is the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessel is custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms. The Vessels are equipped with state of the art navigation and fish finding equipment.

The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

Wonderful and affordable. Our 11 year old caught a huge king mackerel. The crew prepared the filets and then our resort's restaurant prepared it for us. Delicious ocean to table meal. Couldn't have asked for a better father/son excursion.

Went fishing in the AM had a great time the crew is fantastic, right there anytime you needed bait or got tangled, and did not make you feel like an inadequate fisherman

Exceptionally friendly crew and very attentive and patient. We go out with them every time we vacation in Palm Beach Shores. Always a pleasant experience. Fishing was ok. Not many caught but Captain Dan and his crew always make the trip a fun outing.
