Depending on the driver/guide, you could have a good experience. We had two drivers. The first was apparently having a really bad day, which was further exacerbated by the presence of a group of rude riders who constantly talked over the narration. The second, after we hopped back on, was at least mildly entertaining and had some interesting information to add to the sights. As other reviewers have mentioned, you only get one round trip, so you only have one chance to get off at any stop. Also, you may have as much as a 25 minute wait to get a trolley, depending on the luck of when you arrive at the stop. If I visit Boston again, I would probably try a different provider.

Fun group of people. Great guides, good experience. Plus, we were able to see not only moose, but white tailed deer.

The harbor cruise was fantastic! Great views and info. I’ve done 10+ on/off buses and this is the first I was disappointed in. Turns out you can do one circuit only and then u r done-no more rides. I’ve never been limited like that. Usually I like to ride one circuit to get the feel of the land then decide what stops I want off on. Can’t do that here. Also, if u call their phone number and get message, it’s a message from 2022 season. Made me think they had gone out of business when I called with a question

Hi Janis, we pride our tour and service on making it the best experience in our industry...there are companies throughout the country that offer unlimited trips, however you will wait in extremely long lines and pay at least 50% more for your tickets. We also hand each of our guests a very detailed map of our route, stops and highlights of the points of interests, this is a much more efficient way to utilize a hop on/off tour as our guests get to enjoy more time at the stops and able to select more stops to hop off at.
