We traveled on the City ViewTrolley Boston the other day. Imagine our disappointment at being told you can only do one lap of the Trolley tour. Our ticket was a ONE (1) day ticket, not one trip. If you wanted to go around again, you had to purchase another ticket. There was no mention of this situation at the time of booking this tour. We spoke to various ticket booths for City View Trolley Tours around the area. Some vendors said you could travel all day on the one ticket. Other vendors said you could only travel one loop because of all the Cruise ships in Port that day. If this is indicative of the business principles of City Trolley Tours, I would highly recommend you do not purchase a ticket for CITY VIEW TROLLEY TOURS AS THEY HAVE NO ETHICS regarding their product or their customers. Would NOT RECOMMEND OR USE THEM AGAIN. Highly disappointed EX customer.

Driver had to repeat himself often because of new people entering the bus. I realize he was doing this for their benefit but it got tiring.

Hi George, due to new customers boarding for their first time at several starting stops, the driver must inform them of the essential information such as frequency, tour times and safety rules. We hope this help clarifying why drivers repeat themselves. We do hope that you choose to tour with us during any future Boston visits. Mike T

Thought this was a traditional hop on hop off but it is not. I could only do one complete circuit. In addition, you must get off and back on at the same stop! Wish I’d gone for the traditional red bus hop on hop off which allows you to get on and off wherever you like!
