This is a walking tour of historic downtown Breckenridge, making outdoor stops at many locations, telling stories of our dark past. We will start at the south end of town and make approximately 7 stops on the way, finishing at the north end of town at the old Brown Hotel. We use ghost/spirit hunting equipment in our search for the energy that remains. Please dress warmly for this outdoor tour.

Gail our guide was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and brought the experience to life for us! The history of Breckenridge is extremely interesting and spooky and I will never visit and see it the same again (in a good way)! Thank you Gail! :)

Learning to use dowsing rods and having my own set to "ask spirits questions" was an unexpected extra. Having the tour held at night and in the rain (we were advised to bring umbrellas) certainly added another layer to the ominous quality of the stories told by our tour guide!

Our tour guide was engaging and knowledgeable and I enjoyed the information about the history of Breckenridge - the miners' struggles, the establishment of a new town - that accompanied the stories of spirits and souls. Our group seemed a bit large to me, I think it was nearly 20 people (I was very surprised to have this level of turnout on a rainy Tuesday evening), so at times I wasn't close enough to hear all the tales. The guide also did provide dowsing rods for those with interest. I couldn't get mine to work, but it was fun to try, and many folks in the group seemed to have success and it enhanced their experience. Full disclosure, I've been on ghost tours in New Orleans, Savanah, and Ybor City.

Thank you for coming on the tour. Our maximum is 20 for the group and we try never to cancel a tour because of rain to avoid disappointment for guests. I am glad you enjoyed the dowsing rods - they are very popular. As far as the survey goes for the most haunted cities in the US - New Orleans is #1 and Savannah is #2 with Ybor City following close behind!
