We were excited for the tour as it was very well reviewed. However, we felt the tour was mid-sold as the real experience was very different from what was advertised on trip advisor. Here were some of the main elements missing: 1. Admission to Raaka chocolate factory + 20 min stop. 2. Admission to Widow Jane distillery + 20 mins stop. 3. Cadman plaza park incl. court houses 4. Plymouth church of the pilgrims 5. Brooklyn bridge park 6. Fort Greene Park 7. Cobble Hill, Court Street and Kane Street Also, a couple of other points of feedback: - It says the ticket covers admission to Prospect Park even though it’s free. - It says snacks will be provided but none were. Apart from the fact several stops were missed, including the two admissions, the other major disappointing factor was the guide. While the guide was pleasant, they provided limited history or information at any of the stops. So the experience is more like a guided bike ride than an informative tour. Given you can hire public bikes for less than $10, with very clear bike lanes, the added value of the tour guide is minimal. Additionally, one of the main reasons we picked the tour was because it included so many stops, especially the chocolate factory and distillery as breaks. We didn’t get the chance to go to either even though I asked when we went past them. The guides response was “we haven’t gone there in ages” and “I’ve never seen the website”. That made the 2-hour section around Red Hook feel entirely pointless. In the end, the tour felt like a continuous 4 hour bike ride with a lunch break, rather than a varied and informative tour with breaks. To top things off, the company has ignored all our efforts to contact them via email and phone to request a partial-refund. So, customer service appears to be unimportant. I would strongly advise people to save their $88 and take a public bike along the waterfront.

We are very sorry that you were unable to eat chocolate on your bike tour. We have multiple friendships in Brooklyn, NY and that company closed. We are also sorry that you couldn’t drink whiskey on your tour while the guide took you to a new brewer. There were no attempts to contact us- just a rude guest that did not like Brooklyn, NY. We will keep our 88 hard earned dollars.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Brooklyn Bike tour . Frank, our guide, was extremely informative and good humoured , sharing many interesting stories on the history of the area. I would not hesitate to recommend :)

What an amazing bike tour! I’m a cyclist so I was a little hesitant to book this tour as I’ve not had great experiences with organized bike tours. I decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did! I got lucky and was the only one to book the tour that day but Brooklyn Giro held that reservation and I ended up with a private tour! My guide was great! The tour was a little longer than advertised and we stopped for coffee and grabbed a sandwich and had lunch on the pier overlooking Staten Island, Statue of Liberty and downtown Manhattan. I learned a bunch along the way. I’m already trying to plan a return trip so I can do the all day Manhattan tour. 10/10 would recommend Brooklyn Giro! I had a blast!
