There is no other coaster like this in the world! Our ride and shooting experience is comprised of 3 separate companies that we found and put together here at Fort Hays to create this one of a kind experience that will have you laughing and maybe even screaming through out the coaster.

Take a ride on the one of a kind Buffalo Hunt Roller Coaster! This unique shooting gallery coaster is a unique opportunity to be able to tell your friends and family back home that you shot a buffalo while on vacation in South Dakota. Of course its a fake fiberglass buffalo, but you don't have to tell them that if you don't want to.... Soar over the herd of over 20 buffalo and shot at over 40 targets through out the coaster and hit at many targets as you can. Its extremely challenging since you are swinging in the air side to side while trying to aim. When you get off the coaster you will have a score that tells you how you did. Think you are good enough to make the all time high score? There is only one way to find out! Ticket give access to Fort Hays Dances With Wolves Film Set. Supper and Show Ticket sold separately.

My wife just love Rapid City and the Black Hills area. God has blessed that part of the US with beauty beyond imagination. The wildlife is so abundant with bison, donkeys, rams, sheep and many others. You will not be disappointed.

This ride was an unexpected wild ride! It was so fun. Very roller coaster like! We went with several family members so we had a contest to see who got the best score! This was at the same place we got dropped off after the Mt. Rushmore bus trip. Very convenient to do.

We absolutely loved this place, the dining hall is very organized, and the food was very good. I especially enjoyed meeting the owner, who is charming, and full of great stories. Entertainment was epic.
