Огляд
Seven Magic Mountains was produced by the Nevada Museum of Art and Art Production Fund. The exhibition opened May 11, 2016, and was originally scheduled to be on view for two years. Due to the incredible success of Seven Magic Mountains since its opening, artist Ugo Rondinone has expressed a strong desire to explore ways to keep the artwork on view at its current site.

Internationally renowned Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone’s Seven Magic Mountains is a large-scale site-specific public art installation located near Jean Dry Lake and Interstate 15, approximately ten miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada. Comprised of seven towers of colorful, stacked boulders standing more than thirty feet high, Seven Magic Mountains is situated within the Ivanpah Valley adjacent to Sheep Mountain and the McCullough, Bird Spring, and Goodsprings ranges of mountains. A creative expression of human presence in the desert, Seven Magic Mountains punctuates the Mojave with a poetic burst of form and color.

Some consider the sign to be the official southern end of the Las Vegas Strip. The sign, like most of the Strip, sits in Paradise and is located roughly 4 miles (6.4 km) south of the actual city limits of Las Vegas. Such distinctions are usually ignored by both locals and tourists, who refer to the entire metro area as "Las Vegas".

Admittedly I was hesitant to book because of a bad review. But the tour tuned out to be surprisingly great. Robert was 💯- very nice and punctual. He made sure everyone was ok. Free snacks and water were provided as well. Do upgrade your tour if given the choice!

I was very disappointed in the communication so there’s definitely room for improvement there. I had other tours get cancelled so I was trying to confirm this the week before my trip and didn’t hear anything until 9:30p the night before. I also was trying to contact the driver the morning of and did not get a response until 15-20 minutes past my pick up time. They did end up combining me with another tour so I was able to upgrade and add Valley of Fire which was one of my favorite spots of my trip. Robert was also super nice and informative. I would recommend stricter timing expectations because some wondered off at spots and had us waiting and someone was also an hour past pick up time so had to circle back to get them. Overall a nice day but seemed a bit unorganized.

Thinking of getting Lyft to there but glad that we didn't. I highly recommend joining this tour if you want to visit these two sites!
