Though I am posting this review now, the tour was in June. We were traveling overseas right after the tour and I just realized that I never posted this review! We did the full day tour in early June. It was great to get picked up at our Bed & Breakfast by the tour bus driver. The first stop was a lovely winery, Casa Larga, which did a nice job with the tasting and provided lots of info., though I must say it was a bit odd for me to be drinking wine at 10 am! The next stop was lunch at New York Kitchen. I think my expectations may have been a bit too high for lunch- it was good, but it great. We had a little while to walk along the water after lunch while the driver picked up the people joining us for the half day of the tour. It was a lovely day so we really enjoyed having time by the water. We stopped at four other wineries in the afternoon, with a mix of different types of wine. We are not sweet wine fans so we did not like Hazlitt and Arbor Hill at all. In all honestly the majority of the people on the wine tour poured out most of the Arbor Hill wines. We could have done without that stop IMO, but if you love sweet wine it may be your cup of tea. Heron Hill was decent, but our absolute favorite of the whole day was Inspire Moore hands down. Their wine was delicious and the winery had a cool vibe. We really loved it and joined their wine club on the spot! Overall, it was a great day with three of the five wineries being a hit and only two being a miss for us. That being said, I’m not sure I would book a whole day wine tour again and may opt for the half day, though we would have missed Casa Larga, which was our second favorite stop. It was just a long day of drinking wine!
