This was the most amazing experience I’ve ever had. I thought the morning rain would put a damper on the ride but jut the opposite. The rain fed the waterfalls and our pilot, Joe showed us just about every one on the island. He was a very skilled pilot and took great care of us. The landing on the canyon was spot on. This was my first helicopter ride and I was a bit anxious. Smooth sailing all the way. The entire staff at safari was friendly, kind, and professional. Being able to spend time with Mr. Robinson on the canyon top was a delightful surprise.Views of the island were spectacular and I recommend that you see Kauai from the sky. You will not regret it!

I'd absolutely recommend this experience to anyone who is on the fence. I will say that this was my first time in a helicopter, and my first helicopter tour, but the views of Kauai blew my mind. I had heard from several people prior to my trip that the views of the island from the air left them in tears; I thought that was just a silly exaggeration. But the views were that spectacular! The Safari crew were all very kind and accommodating. While the fit in the helicopter was snug, it wasn't uncomfortable. I had one of the middle seats, but even then I still had great views of the waterfalls, canyons, and coastline. I wasn't sure what to expect from the Canyon Landing portion, but it was a pleasant way to break up the flying, and we got to meet a really kind gentleman who was helping to try and conserve much of Hawaii's native plants. Overall, would recommend: great views/experience. Always felt safe. Price was cheaper than other competitors.

The sights are incredible!! Definitely take a helicopter ride. The landing at the canyon was so impressive. Our guide was new to the company but seemed well trained or he's an great BS'er. He had a lot of knowledge about the area and people which was very interesting. Awesome flying through the Waimea Canyon. Saw the west & north coasts. Beautiful waterfalls everywhere. Just like planes - the middle seats suck. Right side & front is best views
