  • Please review voucher information after booking as it provides a detailed list of items banned from the Capitol and many other federal buildings. Possession of these items will result in non-admission to the building.
  • Tour runs approximately 3 hours
  • Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before tour start time. Tour begins exactly at stated time, entry to buildings are on timed reservations, and group must enter security together, therefore we are unable to accommodate for late arrivals.
  • Closest Metro stop: Capitol South (Orange/Blue/Silver Lines) - Exit station using main exit, walk approximately two blocks north on First Street SE.
  • The US Capitol and its surrounding complex are in a secure federal operation area and nearby parking is highly restricted. The nearest public parking is located at Union Station approximately .5 mile from meeting location. Alternative modes of transportation are highly encouraged.

Group was not small, tour guide though she was funny, no one could laugh. Very poor that we just stopped in front of Supreme Court to take a picture and couldn’t take a look inside. Capital tour inside is not special doing it with you and paying all this money. You can also go inside yourself and have exactly the same experience. Guides capital are not yours either so no extra add on to book it via you. Library was okay but by then 90% of the group already checked out because of all mentioned reasons and it was def to long

We're sorry you didn't enjoy the tour as much as everyone else in the group. Our guides provide a deeper dive into history that the federal guides have time for. Also we secure passes for everything so that there is no waiting to see the top sights on Capitol Hill. The Supreme Court has extremely irregular hours we cover the art and architecture as well as knowledge about the institution and hidden history that would otherwise be missed. Finally, it clearly states that this is a 3 hour tour (with breaks) so we are unclear about the complaint that it was three hours
