Visiting Salida with my wife for some hiking and biking, had seen the advertisements for Captain Zipline before but hadn't had the time for it. This trip, we knew we wanted to do it and glad we did! Spoke with Monty on the phone and made a casual reservation, great to speak with the owner himself and he made us feel like he appreciates us as customers and thrill seekers! We arrived and completed paperwork, release forms and soon loaded up in a large passenger van. Within 10mins or so we were at the canyon and getting geared up and ready for a short and very helpful training session. My wife and I both had some nerves about this and the training and practice line helped calm us! We had Nick along with Monty for our group of 5 and is was nothing short of epic! Between zips we were given historical and Eco info relating to the areas in and around the canyon. The ziplines are fun and memorable and worth doing again. Each of the launch points had that leap of faith feel and once under way it was just amazing to feel like flying above the ground! Overall, we were impressed with the experience Captain Zipline provided, top notch service and a team very willing to make sure you had fun and learned something along the way! Thank you Monty and crew!

What a wonderful morning! It was thrilling to fly over the canyons and yet feel extremely safe the whole time. All the staff were young--probably college-aged. However, without exception, they were competent and professional in every way--always attentive to and insistent upon safety details, but without sacrificing their senses of humor to do so. In addition, all staff members were friendly, helpful, encouraging and kind to EVERYONE...even guests who were older or overweight or afraid or just squirrely middle school day campers. :-) Exemplary job, all of you! I was especially impressed with Pat who made our phone reservation several days before our arrival. I explained that we wanted to try to fit a half day of whitewater rafting on the same day and he had some ideas about how best to accomplish that goal. Pat also made a point to be sure that we were in the first shuttle van back to the office after the zipline tour, to insure we wouldn't be late to meet our rafting party. I really appreciated that consideration and attention to detail. One caveat--there really aren't adequate restroom facilities, even at the office, so be sure to do your business before you arrive. This is a great adventure! Don't miss it. To all of you at Captain Zipline--thanks for a glorious morning!

This was a great activity for our family and having Preston and Kiki as our guides only made it better. We had some huge flight delays which was going to make it difficult for us to make our original zipline tour. A quick call to the office and we were given some alternate times to choose from so we could still participate in this ziplining adventure. A huge thank you for helping us with that. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
