5 ☆ experience.
1. The staff is excellent, extremely helpful amd very concerned for our safety. Everything went smoothly. We were provided a dust mask, Helmet and googles and then given instructions on how to use a ATV.
2. Then we were lead to a training course to get familiar with the bike. At this time it was determined my GF struggled in the training coarse so they allowed us to switch to a UTV. Best decision we could've made. (makes the coarse easier and more enjoyable because we are both novice riders.
3. This is not an easy course to navigate if you are new to riding. We we're told it has level 4 and 5 sections. I recommend you book a UTV if you're not sure. Better safe than sorry.
4. Our guide was fantastic he looked out for our group of 8. We had several incidents of riders going off the path or getting stuck on climbs and he had to assist in pulling the ATV out of the ditch.
5. Now the positives. This is a great coarse if you have ATV experience, It's a long ride and has challenging sections. I will return when I have more experience, especially with steep climbing, which is where some people in our group had trouble. The straight aways were easy.
6. The landscape and terrain is beautiful, perfect for photography and exploring the desert (Bring your cameras) I brought a DLSR.
7. Located in Black Canyon City just 70 miles (1 Hr and 10 min) from Sedona AZ. Stop in an take a ride on the way through. This region is incredible with a mountain and Cactus landscape. Very relaxing.
8. The UTV experience was better than I expected. These things are easy to operate and fun to drive. At the half way point my GF took over and drove us back. She had no problems navigating the level 5 areas. These things operate like a car gas and brake that's it. No clutch or throttle.
This trip was worth every penny. I will definitely stop in again. They have a vehicle for every skill level and the course is long and challenging. You'll get your monies worth.
