Chuckanut Bay Distillery is a true grain-to-glass distillery located in a beautiful historic building right in the heart of Bellingham. Our experiential tour takes you behind the scenes to show you how we convert locally grown grains into award-winning Whiskey, Gin, Vodka, and more. Guaranteed to tantalize all your senses!

Tour is about one hour in length and includes two complimentary "mini" cocktails, a guided tour of the distillery, and a complimentary keepsake Chuckanut Bay Distillery souvenir glass.

Pull back the curtain to see how a real grain-to-glass distillery turns locally grown agricultural products into award-winning spirits, such as bourbon, whiskey, gin, vodka, and more. After touring the facility, you'll be treated to a guided tasting through our line of spirits and receive a complimentary Chuckanut Bay Distillery shot glass to take home with you.

My wife and I toured Chuckanut Bay Distillery on 11/12/22 and had a great time. The tour guide and other staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We arrived 20 minutes early and shared an amazing hot toddy. The tour guide explained the very interesting history of the building and shared interesting facts about their fermentation and distilling processes. She explained that they have plans to expand to offer a larger events space and rooftop bar. After the tour we had dinner at their adjoining Penny Farthing Bar & Restaurant, which is their tribute to a large antique bicycle known as a “penny farthing” of the late 18th century. They have one of these interesting bicycles mounted above the bar. The restaurant overlooks the stills through a glass wall. The menu was small, but the food and drinks that we tried were excellent. We had the Mezze Platter and Filet Sliders. Both were delicious. We decided to purchase a bottle to take home. Unfortunately they were out of their Muzzleflash Whiskey, so we opted for a bottle of Dock Line - "Sweet Whiskey infused with Botanicals", which is delicious.

Hannah was an absolutely amazing tour guide. Will definitely be back, from the drinks to the atmosphere it was just a wonderful experience

We had a great time learning about the distilling process and pieces of Bellingham’s history. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had great energy. The cocktails were delicious! Make sure you leave time to sit in the tasting room and buy a flight to try some of the spirits you’ve learned about. We will be back to the tasting room and the restaurant!
