I’ve been coming to CW since 1968. At that time there were, though I didn’t know it, a number of replica structures. Fast forward to the recent decade and you will find inns and home easily identifiable to Patrick Henry, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. Why, even today, you may even encounter Martha Washington riding Isabella, a Cleveland Bay, trotting along DOG street. A personal favorite is the apothecary where you will find my favorite desert “dark chocolate” in a glass container. You see chocolate in colonial times had medicinal attributes. Heck, I’ve always known that. So, take a day, a week, or in my case a lifetime, walking streets and visiting buildings considered common place by our founding fathers.
