In this class you will receive hands on training from a Michelin trained chef. You'll learn the many secrets and techniques of the world's top kitchens and receive tips and tricks for replicating professional-quality dishes at home.

Our guests will experience local ingredients that are little-known in other corners of the world. We'll explain to you the storied histories of these products, their traditional and contemporary use in cuisine, and how to maximize their use. This said, our recipes are specifically crafted to be replicable so that you can use your newfound knowledge to impress your dinner guests wherever you call home.

All of our menus are customized to fit your dietary needs and interests. Please let us know of any preferences, dislikes, or allergies so that you can feel as at home in our kitchen as we do. We like to accommodate multiple groups so that travelers can mingle and make friends as they cook the night away. Private groups can be arranged upon request.

We met chef Gregory Light while we were out doing the tourist thing (having an afternoon beer at the local brewery) and began talking about his experience at Michelin starred restaurants. This turned into booking his dinner cooking class . My friend and I were amazed from the moment we arrived at Greg’s beautiful home (filled with his mother’s artwork - which we subsequently admired at the Sedona Arts Center). We had cocktails and then began our hands-on cooking (with a break to admire the sunset and listen for coyotes). It was a delicious 3 course meal (we chose vegetarian) with wine pairings. All of the sauces, infused honey and flavoured vinegar were homemade. Greg is a wonderful chef, instructor and host - he patiently explained the chemistry of why /how the ingredients worked together to elevate the taste of each ingredient. Our husbands picked us up and were invited in for wine while we finished up. We came away with a booklet of the recipes we used - and when leaving, we were even gifted with a jar of his fermented honey. It was a memorable, fun and delicious experience. I would highly recommend taking a class with Greg.

Four friends from around the country, gathering in Sedona, wanted to take a cooking class and cook Mexican food. We found Lighthouse Kitchen online, and it was perfect. Chef Gregory was a great host, chef and teacher. We learned new things, ate fabulous food (with wine pairings) and laughed a lot. The fact that his workspace featured a fabulous sunset and coyotes right outside the door only added to a great experience.

I don’t know where to start but 10/10 I recommend! Amazing company with chef Greg! Makes you feel super comfortable and very professional. Amazing views and sunset. Topping it all off with very tasteful food! One of the best experiences I’ve had! Will be back!
