Kyle was the best. He’s a naturalist and a historian and provided amazing information about the area. He’s also very funny. The boats were absolute blast. This is a must outing for anyone visiting Amelia Island. Make sure that you go on a warmer day as it can get quite cold. But what’s a little chill when you’re having so much fun!

We had an excellent trip with Kyle. We learned so much about the history of Amelia Island. From the Native American & their languages, to the Europeans that later laid claim. He covered 500 years of history and we were enthralled. But he knew that’s what we wanted to learn. It was a personalized tour. We saw so much nature. Bald Eagles, we were 6 feet from dolphin, we saw multiple wild horses on Cumberland Island. We learned about the Naval Port. We had a specific interest in the paper plants, My husband builds paper plants. He recommended authors that have written books about Cumberland Island & Amelia Island. We immediately went to The Book Loft & purchased all his recommendations. He also had some great restaurant recommendations. We loved Kyle & would strongly recommend his tours.

We went on the CraigCat tour with Kyle & we enjoyed it thoroughly!!! He really got to know us & understand our interest in nature & history of all things local. He stopped so we could see an American Eagle 10 feet away. We saw 7 wild horses. We were SO CLOSE to dolphin it was incredible! We learned so much about abandoned boats. We learned the history of the island, going back hundreds of years. We love learning these things. He told us about various books based on Amelia & neighboring Islands & the History of Amelia Island. We saw where the submarines are kept, and the missiles. He taught us about the jellyfish we’re had been seeing washed up on the shore. We were happy to learn it was just natural. We also got tips on restaurants for our stay. It’s always best to get that knowledge from a local. It was such an amazingly well rounded experience! So much more than we anticipated. I would highly recommend! It’s outstanding!
