The tour started an hour late, while we stood and waited. The guides were friendly, but it seemed like two native friends who just got together and figured they could walk groups around. There was SO MUCH WALKING, which I was prepared for, but whew! We did enjoy the tequila tasting, but felt the prices were a little high there. We were taken to the souvenir shops and bartered our way into some deals. It would have been nice to see the inside of some of the old buildings or something we can’t just Google. We were fed a tasty authentic lunch, but the place really didn’t have options nor an elaborate menu. HERES WHERE IT GETS SHADY: ok so time to go home - instead of walking us back, they put us into random taxis. We were told at the beginning of the tour that it would only be a ~15 minute line to re-enter the US. Surprise! The like was long and wrapped around the block. 90 minute wait. Our tour guides said we could wait in line, or pay a random group of men $20 to skip the line and be through to the US in 5 minutes. As it was getting dark, we gave the last of our money to these men. We were then escorted to stand outside of a parking lot two blocks away. As we stood there, we heard a man inside the lot cursing out the people who were supposed to be taking us to the front of the line, as he had been waiting for over an hour. We started asking questions and asking for a refund after 20 minutes. They brought us back to the main group and instead of giving our money back, they offered to walk us to the front of the line. We were stopped by the police and told to get to the back of the line. Luckily we were able to get our money back, but at this point we could have been through customs. We waited in line for two hours while infants and nursing mothers begged us for a dollar. Overall it was a decent cultural experience but I never need to go back to Tijuana ever again. Never again.

Tequila ! Quesadillas were So good with that cheese !! Big group safe ! Just had trouble with the directions to meet up
