This was part of our 5 day city sightseeing pass. We got a bike hire for the park, cycled around the park to pick up the picnic. The picnic came with 2 baguettini each (turkey or $2 each for upgrade to any other ones) 2 apples, 2 packets of crisps, 2 cookies and spring water all packed in a reusable bag to keep.

This Central Park picnic shop was available on the sightseeing pass. Our expectations were not high due to previous experience but after walking an hour through the park to get there it was so worth it! We were given x2 sandwiches each of our choice, crisps, cookies, apples and a bottle of water each all inside a lovely picnic bag. The food tasted great and the customer service from the guy who served us was outstanding and was by far the best we received in NYC.

The picnic was fantastic. We went with the deluxe option and were delivered the most beautiful selection of cold meats, cheeses, terrine and other goodies. This wonderful food made for a great feast which we spent leisurely enjoying on the picnic blanket provided.

Only downside - we paid for our picnic to be delivered to our hotel and were texted saying we could come and pick it up in the park. Happy to say that Vram from Perfect Picnic jumped right in to get the picnic to us - great customer service from a young guy and would like to thank him publicly here for fixing the error. Venue for delivery was not requested at time of booking - perhaps this could be changed so management are more aware?

So apart from getting our picnic late due to the above, it was a great experience and one I would certainly recommend to others we'll do it again next time we are in New York. Plus the tote bag and picnic blanket we got to use again later in the week, and are nice souvenirs of a wonderful trip.
