The trip was definitely more than we expected. The trip started out at the office where the crew working were very helpful in getting the paperwork we needed filled out. Then, with a short bus ride to the launch site, the driver, Bob gave a bit of a history lesson along the way. The guides Clay, Sam, and Shane were all extremely friendly and very informative about the surrounding areas. Before we took off, helmets were issued and a brief safety course took place. The guides made sure all riders and drivers were comfortable and made sure the ride was fun. It isn’t your regular tourist attraction where everyone rides in a straight line going 2 miles per hour either! A few splashes of mud, some increases in speed, and a lot of laughter was involved! A few stops gave the guides each a chance to teach the group about the mountains, rocks, trees, and animals that travel through the area. We were lucky to see a Moose and her two calves along the ride, which would be incredible for someone who has never been able to experience nature that way. There is a sense of privacy within your group when riding in your vehicle, which is a nice change when it comes to touring the area. We would definitely recommend this tour in the Denali area to any and all!
