Easy going and then really exciting, our trip down the Deschutes River was quite a thrill. Our guide, Chris, was great and the 2 and a half hour ride was a combination of easy gliding interspersed by thrilling rapids. We are both grandmas and we were able to brave the rapids with no ill effects. I highly recommend this adventur!

Beautiful river and gorgeous scenery! We saw herons, mergansers, osprey and a marmot. Nice calm areas punctuated by class III rapids and one class IV so we definitely got drenched! It was exciting and FUN! We didn’t take our phones so thank goodness for the excellent photographer who took photos of all the highlight sections of our trip. So glad we decided to do this!

The River Drifters are highly recommended! Our guide was the best! Brody was great from the beginning! He was friendly, informative and a terrific guide! We had a great time!
