I had an amazing experience with Miss Kira Lee!! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants a great night out in Charleston, perfect for couples who want to try something on the dark side.

I had a spooktacular time at the “Death is a Drag” Culinary Tour hosted by the drag queen of scream, Kira Lee. The room lent the appropriate macabre mood for the evening: from its furnishings and table setting, to Kira Lee’s sultry arrival. While Kira Lee guided us through a comprehensive visual tour of Charleston’s ghostly history, we were served a delicious assortment of desserts, course by course, from local establishments. Not a body at the table was left unsatisfied…with the desserts and with Kira Lee’s wry humor and detailed knowledge. I recommend you register to take a bite out of Charleston’s decadent desserts and dark past. No doubt, “Death in Drag” will cast a spell on you.

Went with one of my friends to Death is a Drag and it was the BEST girls night out! Kira Lee was amazing and had you hooked on every ghost story she told. From a Charleston local who has gone on multiple different tours through the city, I still learned so much from her. Even about a few spots I frequent. Tours around the city can be exhausting sometimes with all the walking, this event was perfect because it is in a smaller intimate setting. No walking, just sitting around a table hearing ghost stories as Kira makes you feel like you're in them. The old historical house is the perfect setting for stories like these. All the desserts they served were delicious and local! I found a few new spots to check out thanks to this!! Thank you Kira Lee and the Charleston Culinary Team for the best time! I can't wait to bring more friends and family to this event!
