Парріш Парк

Парк Парріш розташований на лагуні річки Індіан. Індійська річкова лагуна є частиною одного з найбільш біорізноманітних естуаріїв у всій Північній півкулі. Silver Springs State Park

Where can you kayak or paddleboard and see monkeys, manatees and turtles all on the same day? On our Silver Springs Adventure. We paddle the Fort King paddle trail through lush forest and gorgeous turquoise waters to the spring head. Silver Spring was Florida's first tourist attraction which dates to the 1870s. We'll stop along the way to observe wildlife and make new friendships. The pictures here are stunning!

Although the description clearly tells you to arrive early, we were coming from a bit away, and were there only 10 minutes before the start. There was a line to purchase the state park and launch fee (they take credit cards or cash). Our guides (Lauren and Roger) were relaxed and we didn't hold the group up. The water was amazing - so clear and a pretty blue. The guides were excellet at pointing out wildlife (that I would have just drifted past). I think they may have a better view of the manatees on the paddleboards, but they brought us up close. We saw lots of turles, native birds, alligators, but no monkeys. I loved the experience. My 14 year old daughter felt it was a bit long (our tour lasted the full 2 hours). The manatees aren't very active, so she described it as looking at potatos under water. For me it was a peaceful time, and we had great weather. I would recommend for sure.

A spectacular excursion. Guide Rich was knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled. He found all the animals for us to see and answered all our questions. He took his time with us. Really a great experience, thank you.

We saw lots of manatees!! It was really fun and very peaceful. Our guide, Rich, was helpful and shared a lot about the wildlife. We saw lots of manatees, cool shore birds and alligators.
