Our Original Ghost Walk takes travelers through the historic downtown Mystic landscape, guests will become immersed in the dark, sordid and supernatural history of New England’s famous seafaring village. From 17th century strife of colonial life amidst the Pequot Wars and the King Phillip’s war to mysterious turn of the century murders, Mystic’s history was founded in darkness. As the centuries grew, lost seafarers, creepy cryptids, and scandalous happenings took place in our quaint seaside community.

Hear tales of Revolutionary heroes, industrial revolution hot spots, and Union soldiers of the Civil War still seen in their spectral form all on our Downtown Mystic tour. Our Downtown Mystic tour takes guests from the 17th through 20th centuries in old Mystic with true terrifying tales from our hidden archives and remarkable history amid legends and lore. From curses to paranormal activity, there’s no shortage of the supernatural in downtown Mystic.

There's a new aggressive individual in town who has been instigating our team a bit as he doesn't like the tours being nearby however we are working hard to accommodate the requests of locals while still ensuring our guests have the best experience possible and see as much of our beautiful and spooky town as we can show! We apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused by this.

We really enjoyed our tour. Evan was an excellent guide. The tour was entertaining and educational - Evan's vocabulary and local knowledge was truly impressive. I will be reading up on these amazing true stories. Thank you very much!

For the most part, I enjoyed the tour, and finding out more about the town.... however, the tour was entirely overbooked... there were so many people on the tour that we couldn't even hear the guide's stories most of the time, plus she didn't even wait for the group to assemble before she started talking and so most of us missed a lot of the stories.

Thank you for your feedback! We are glad you enjoyed learning about Mystic. We understand that it felt crowded but assure you our tour group on this evening was a little over half full so plenty of space was available and we weren't overbooked. Downtown Mystic is such a busy and heavy trafficked town on summer weekends so it can feel crowded sometimes with all the folks around. We recommend the graveyard tour for folks wanting a more intimate experience without that! As for the volume and timing, we will absolutely be able to remedy these issues with our voice amplifier and some longer pauses and will let the team know of your concern. Thank you for visiting us!
