My favorite part of the tour was the excellent sampling of great foods from all the restaurants. We were able to taste pizza, steak, and Mexican cuisine in three different venues where the food was paired with two different wines and a margarita. Our tables were ready when we arrived at each location and the meal samples were served to our tour group within two minutes of our being seated. All the restaurant managers, chefs, and servers who greeted our party were happy to explain the foods we were tasting and answer all our questions.

Learning about the history of Plano and all the restaurants and shops I did not know existed. I have been downtown to eat many times, but some of the restaurants we visited never showed up on my radar. The tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable about Plano.

I toured downtown Plano with Lone Star Food Tours. My friend and I had a great time! The three restaurants were delicious. We had more than enough to eat. We also enjoyed wine and margaritas. The boutique shops showcased unique items. This was a great way to spend the afternoon. The tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The tour was well organized. I highly recommend this tour for out of town guests, date day, corporate events, and just friends having fun!
