We live in Boca and took a Saturday afternoon 4-hour drift-fishing trip, two adults two kids. The boat was maybe half capacity, the crew stretched too thin because all anyone caught was seaweed and tangled lines. I mean, it was an absolute joke. The entire boat caught maybe 4-5 fish, and just bonita, nothing edible. Bad day for fishing? Maybe. But I noticed no effort to "seek out" fish with all the expensive finding equipment they claim to have. We left the inlet, went out maybe a half mile or mile, dropped lines, drifted through seaweed, lines tangled again and again, pulled up bait and motored right back to where we started, and drifted north again. This was the pattern three or four times, then we headed back in. It was a joke. And because the dock is right next to the Ft Lauderdale beach strip, you get a crowd that's more interested in drinking and chain smoking than catching fish. I've drift fished before on other boats, sad to say this was my kids' first experience. We won't be back to these guys, at least not for the 4-hour tourist-trap trip. Buyer beware!
