Absolutely amazingly Must do! Pete started us out on our bus tour with a list of birds for bird spotting! Throughout the day we ended up with almost 30 different birds. We took a short nature walk and Pete showed us different plants, berries, animals etc. Then we went on an air boat touring the Everglades. We saw alligators and snakes! We stopped at a nice island cafe for lunch. We went on another boat tour of the Everglades and stopped at an antique shopping store. Pete knows so much history of the Indians, Collier and the area.

Amazing day! Saw a few gators and snakes and tons of birds. Pete really made the trip special with his knowledge of plants and animals. I was particularly impressed with the history he shared of the Everglades and the indigenous tribes. Would do it all over again the next time we’re back here.

We had such a great time on this tour. The diversity offered between the hike, the airboat tour, and the boat ride on the ocean was great. We saw so many animals but the dolphins playing with the boat was definitely the highlight of the trip for the kids. Our guide Heidi was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and entertaining. This was a day well spent!
