On our "Fast & More" adventure, you will set off on a high-speed tour through the mangroves of the Homosassa River. After you arrive at Crump's Landing, our staff will store your belongings and begin your adventure on our custom-built airboat, reaching speeds up to 35 mph.

Ride through shallow waters and explore the path less traveled by conventional boats. Our knowledgeable local guides will slow down to let guests take in the sights and snap a few photos of the fantastic wildlife. From dolphins to birds to manatees, this tour truly is "Fast & More." Each tour is unique, and there's only one way to find out!

We did this last min & the staff was great! Ended up out in the Gulf & the guide gave us some info of that area. Fun/fast ride & would recommend as the staff are very nice!

Look elsewhere if you want a good airboat adventure. If you just want a ride to the bay and back, this is for you. We spent the first 15 minutes barely traveling through the no wake zone with other boats constantly passing us, both on the way out and on the way back. It was obvious the "captain" was killing time to make the ride last as close to the advertised hour as possible. While we DID spend five minutes watchin dolphins and DID see ONE manatee, the rest of the time was spent idling around the bay edge. It was NEITHER "fast" nor "more". When I enquired why we hadn't made any effort to pass through the shallows and mangroves (as we have on ALL SIX PREVIOUS AIRBOAT RIDES WITH FOUR DIFFERENT VENDORS) he stated "it would damage the intakes." Airboats are air cooled! In my honest opinion, this is just an extension of Crumps tourist rip-off endeavor. To say my family was disappointed would be an understatement.

Joe Wanted to address some of your comments and we are sorry you did not enjoy your tour. We have the shortest idle time of any airboat tour on the Homosassa River all the rest are longer. I can assure you that we do not need to "kill" time in the idle to make our time as this time of year with the longer idle for manatee zones none of us ever make it back in 60 minutes let alone less time than that. If other boats were not following idle speed signs that does not mean it was ok and on top of that if you think the idle is bad imagine doing that 5 or 6 times a day, it is our least favorite part of the ride even though there is typically a lot of wildlife to see. We would all love to get through the idle speed zones faster but we will not go faster than we are allowed, but we do make up for it because we generally do not make it back on time like we can in the summer when the idle zones are shorter. As far as running across the grass we respect our ecosystem and the beauty of our area and will not compromise that to give you a more thrilling ride, it has nothing to do with the "intakes". If another company is willing to run all over the grass ruining the ecosystem then they are probably who you should go with on your next tour your captain was just too nice to tell you that.
