Experience a delightfully relaxing semi-private electric bicycle tour along Coronado Island’s scenic coastal bike paths and beach boardwalks. These luxury electric beach cruisers are handcrafted locally and stream super fun beach tunes as you explore the island. Private tours available.

On this 3 hr guided tour, guests will explore the best parts of Coronado Island - The Coronado Ferry Landing Shops/Restaurants, Glorietta Bay, Coronado Beach, and the historic Hotel del Coronado. Your tour guide will share stories of Coronado’s past, from shipwrecks and sunken treasure, to the Hotel Del’s haunted past and spirits that have yet to check out. And of course, we love to take complimentary photos of our guests exploring scenic areas around the island.

Private tours by request at additional cost. Single riders are welcome, but we don’t operate tours for a single rider. If no other riders have booked the tour, the tour will be cancelled. Please call us if you have any questions.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Single riders are welcome to join a tour, but single rider tours are not offered. If no other guests book the tour, it will be cancelled.
21+ years old, 13+ (recommended) with parent.
Rider’s recommended to be 5’2” and taller to ride beach cruisers. Smaller e-bikes available for shorter riders.
Experienced Riding Skills: Riders must have ‘experienced proficiency’ in bicycle riding skills - Defined as those who ride bicycles regularly. Not recommended for novice riders or those who haven’t ridden in years.
Max Weight: 250 lbs.

Ken owner of Fat Woody Beach Cruiser Experience is a sensational tour guide. The man is a genius with his custom made bikes. His background knowledge is equally sensational. He took my friend and I on an incredible bike ride around Coronado giving us a view of paradise and the history we both love to hear. The bikes are a wonder. So smooth and easy to ride. It made traveling the island a wonder. I would highly recommend this tour worth every penny. I am 65 and my friend was 37 so easy for the old as well as the experienced.

Owner Ken was amazing. He knew Coronado very well. His cruisers were something to behold. It was a full 2 +hour tour that was filled with history and 60's music. The electric bikes were a breeze.

We had a great time with our host Ken. He’s a great tour guide who’s very friendly and passion about making sure we were having a great time. Ken is not only the tour guide but the business owner. Each electric bike is hand made by Ken and has state of the art sound system which makes cruising very enjoyable. The bikes and matching color helmets were impeccably clean. You can tell this guy is a perfectionist and enjoys showing his clients the best of Coronado. His knowledge of Coronado made the experience educational for us. Besides cruising by scenic views of San Diego across the bay, Ken took us on the beach near the Hotel Del Coronado. The Fat Woody bike was designed to be able to cruise on the sand. Ken even takes pictures along the way in the best scenic areas. I highly recommend this experience.
