Oh my Love!!! I love this 💃🏻🌺🌊 Hawaii’s most authentic luxury Luau “Feast at Mokapu”. Steven was taking care us. He was very pleasant and explained each dish and entertained us. I had so much JOY OF THE WORLD, singing along, dancing along, smiling the whole time with the BEST HAWAIIAN LUAU! The dinner with Premium Vegetarian option was superb!! This was totally high end luau at Andaz Hotel, Molapu Beach. THE PERFORMERS, dancers, singers were full of Spirits of Hawaii. The vibration was so uplifting with the best open view of Sunset, Twilight and Ocean! My Birthday celebration was lifetime memorable! Love every moment. The fire show was exciting! The setting where the luau takes place, on the lawn of the Andaz resort with the ocean and palm trees in the background, made us feel like movie stars, it was absolutely stunning. The staff was very welcoming and professional, and the open bar was classy and well stocked. We'd really been looking forward to this experience, and wow, the performances didn't disappoint. That element was top notch, authentic, and not corny at all. In fact, I was quite moved and thrilled by the performances. On the downside, the food was a little disappointing. Not bad by any means, but it was like what you'd get at a nice catered event (fish tasty but overcooked, standard side salad, big scoop of rice, etc.)...nothing spectacular. The three little tarts served for dessert might've been my favorite course, but they were handed out in plastic takeout containers, which I thought was an odd presentation, although maybe it was assuming people were too stuffed and wanted their desserts to go, haha. A complimentary photo was taken by the sea at sunset, which was a nice touch, and I guess the photographer was a professional, but our photo came out pretty bad, with shadows right across my and my husband's faces and the image was very contrast-y. That was disappointing too, considering how the photos I saw online of other couples at the luau came out so nice. Oh well. Overall, I would still recommend this luau because of the outstanding performances and beautiful, classy ambiance.

The performance and educational portrayal of the Polynesian culture was absolutely wonderful. The welcome drinks were a treat. The 3 stars are for the Hawaiian luau performers, but i would give them 10 stars! Unfortunately the food was extremely underwhelming. I wish there was a separate review for food bc this is no reflection on the performance. All the protein was dry, over cooked, and salty. The pork had a plastic after taste and was dry. The prime rib had large lumps of fat. The fish was “ok.” The chicken was palatable bc of the sauce. The desserts were a joke. I spent 300$ per person for petite four style desserts. Nothing was authentically cooked. You’re better off reserving a table at morimoto over looking the performance to get the food you’d want, but then you’d deprive the wonderful Polynesian luau of their hard earned money
