Had a great day fishing upper kenai from sportsman's to skilak lake. J.J. created a relaxed and fun fishing environment that produced results. Provided us with quality equipment, and a wealth of knowledge. Beautiful stretch of river.

Went down the canyon with JJ from Kenai River Trout Anglers last September. The float down the river was beautiful and we got into the Rainbows. JJ put in a lot of effort and was able to put us right on the fish. All tackle was provided and JJ knew exactly what they were biting. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend this company.

Andrew thanks for the review! You will be missed now that you moved back to the lower 48. I enjoyed the numerous trips with you and your family over the past 10 years. We booked a fishing trip back in November 2019 for a canyon fishing trip in June 2020 with JJ. We were traveling from Australia and had this trip on our bucket list for a long time. From the very onset , the communication and booking process was seamless. JJ was very obliging with changing dates and organizing the entire trip, through emails and phone calls. Then we had to call and cancel because we could no longer travel from Australia. His response was immediate and without question. Full refund given and totally understanding and helpful . Thanks JJ and we will be booking with you definitely in 2021 when we finally make it to Alaska. You came highly recommended by other fishing outfits in Alaska and it’s not hard to see why.

Thanks for writing a review. I’m sorry you had to cancel your trip, but hopefully you will make it in 2021. I would never keep people’s money during a situation like this, regardless of the cancellation policy. Keeping people’s money in this situation would be morally and ethically wrong. I treat the situation the same way I would want to be treated if I was on the other side. Good luck stay healthy and hope to see you in 2021.
