Marvel at the 14,410’ Tahoma (Mount Rainier) - the most prominent peak in the contiguous United States. You’ll join your local Good Trip Adventures guide for a day exploring the diverse volcanic landscape - from the dense old growth forests at its base to the wildflower dotted alpine meadows above.

From the Sunrise area of the park, you’ll get an up close view of the effects of the mountain’s power as your guide explains its geological history. The day is yours to customize and your guide will work with your group to design an itinerary perfectly suited to your abilities and interests.

Our guide Khadijah was incredibly patient and well-organized, with extensive knowledge of the outdoors and biology. The food provided was ample and varied. Our guide was a wonderful person, making the trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

What a spectacular day at Mount Rainier! Our guide Lauren was absolutely fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable--she was truly a geology, plant, and wildlife expert! Our kids were so entertained by her facts and information and she led us on a couple of wonderful hikes around the mountain. The over-the-top picnic lunch and snacks she included were also outstanding, custom-made, and delicious. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an active day exploring the prisinte beauty of Mt Rainier!

This trip was truly spectacular! I had no idea that the mountain was so dramatic and breathtaking up close. Lauren took us on a great hike around the Sunrise area complete with Marmots, glaciers, waterfalls, and wildflowers. I highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking of visiting the Pacific Northwest. We were even able to go out and back from Seattle and be back by dinner time!
