After that we head to the Castro, then walk through Dolores Park. We finish the morning part of the tour in the Haight, it's a great place to get some lunch.

After that we take you to see an icon of San Francisco, the Painted Ladies. That's followed by a walk down another SF icon, Lombard Street. We finish the tour with a walk through North Beach & Chinatown. By then you’ll have had a fantastic experience of SF & made some beautiful memories to take home.

This walking tour was the best. Jamie our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and provided lots of cool information about the city. He offered good suggestions for photo ops and restaurant recommendations. Walking tour if you’re up for it is the way to go. Fortunately for us there was another family of our same fitness level and motivation and got through everything. Who never is in your group probably my would make a difference on your experience as well. I wish we would have actually gone into the cable museum as it states in the itinerary. My only con about the tour.

Jamie was a wonderful guide! He was very informative from start to finish. He has been giving this tour for some time and was very knowledgeable about the city. We started on cable car and took multiple forms of transportation including street car and bus. Jamie kept us at a good pace during the tour. We weren’t rushed; yet we also kept pace with the bus/cable car and streetcar schedule. We saw Knob Hill, City Hall, the Castro, Haight/Ashbury, “the painted ladies” Victorian row, Lombard St, and Chinatown. We were a family of 4 including a 13 year old and a 17 year old, along with another family of three- a mom and two young daughters. Very detailed history- just in case families don’t have that level of interest. There is a good amount of walking too. The tour said not recommended for those under 15 due to getting on and off cable cars and the amount of walking involved but that wasn’t a problem for our daughter. Our guide also gives food tours so he knew great spots for lunch and really great Italian pastry shop at North Beach.

Mike, our tour guide was great! This tour introduced us to the city as we explored a good portion of it, on foot, by Cable Car and public transportation. We learned about the history of San Francisco and experienced many of its highlights. After the tour we felt more confident in exploring on our own using all modes of transportation. This was a full day tour, comfortable shoes are a must as well as being prepared for any type of weather. This is NOT a tour for anyone who has any type of mobility issues.
