Experience the upper Kenai river on an 8 hour full-day guided fishing trip in 20 foot custom drift boats sometimes stopping in the best places to do some Kenai River wade fishing from shore.
Fly fishing and spin fishing in small groups provides a personalized experience with your seasoned local guide/instructor Mike Adams. Enjoy the Chugach National Forest and/or the upper Kenai National Wildlife Refuge with the chance of seeing the local wildlife that abounds here.
Fishing on the upper Kenai River is an unparalleled experience. Fishing for native Kenai River rainbow trout and dolly varden char is an excellent choice. Cooper Landing salmon fishing is also fantastic during our two Kenai River sockeye salmon runs and our two silver salmon runs.

Mike is a great guide. He knows the river and how to fish it. We went with Mike to do some fly fishing for trout. We caught a number of Dolly Vardens and rainbows. He had excellent fly gear for us to use and the right flies to get the job done. I highly recommend Alaskan Angling and Mike Adams for your next fishing trip on the Upper Kenai.

Mike was an amazing guide and made you feel very welcome and appreciated. Mike adjusted the fishing location for the day, due to his knowledge and experience of the salmon run. The boat ride to his location was enjoyable, with excellent scenery. Mike also new of spots to fish where the salmon were near the shore, but no other people fishing. We caught our limit, which we took home, with some still left in the freezer. A trip that we will not forget.

We spent a full day of salmon fishing on the Upper Kenai. Mike was extremely helpful, patiently teaching us the proper techniques. He knew where the good "holes" were and we saw lots of action throughout the day. We learned a great deal about the forest life cycle and plant life as well. Another highlight was my son spotting a black bear on the shore of the lake and pulling up close for observation. Highly recommend Mike to anyone who wants to experience awesome fishing and beautiful surroundings.
