It could not be more alluring penned by Raymond Chandler himself: enigmatic Everygirl from middle America comes to Hollywood to pursue dreams of the silver screen. Falls in with the wrong crowd. Recovered a week later in South L.A. as a barely recognizable rests. Travel in time back to the golden days of Hollywood, trace The Dahlia’s final known movements and get to know the poor tragic human submerged beneath an ocean of myths, misconceptions and innuendo.

Wow! What a fantastic tour start to finish. Our tour guide Blaze treated the memory of Elizabeth Short, the Black Dahlia, with great respect and made our tour fun and informative. I truly appreciated being able to walk through Elizabeth Short’s final days and see what life would have been like for her in post war LA. If there’s anyone who knows about the Black Dahlia it’s Blaze! I highly recommend her, this tour and Graveline.

I am very interested in the Black Dahlia. read four books and counteless articles on the killing and the theories and suspects. I took the tour with Blaze, she was fantastic. I really liked this tour as they touched on the main suspects and showed you were the murders may have occured via several authors. We saw the Biltmore which was purported as the last place she was seen alive and of course the factual place where her body was found. Also saw several places where Elizabeth lived as she bounced around LA. Great tour - I would recommend and will take it again next time I am in town.

Wow, that was so much fun and also so well curated and well written and well spoken. Our tour guide blaze made the macabre and sad story have some context within the grade factory of Hollywood as well as the paradise of broken dreams. We felt safe we felt understood. We were able to contribute our thoughts to the journey and we so appreciated the intelligent and well performed a script and care given to us by our driver/Blaze.
