Baltimore Street and Steinwehr Avenue were trapped in the crossfire between Union and Confederate troops. On this tour you will hear about the tragic death of Jennie Wade, how civilians survived the battle, the fighting between the two sides in the streets, the aftermath of the battle, presidential visits, and some of Gettysburg’s early history.

Walk the streets of Gettysburg with an experienced licensed town guide. Group sizes are generally under ten for these tours.

This tour complements the 11:00 a.m. tour (Civilian Experience). This tour covers the Southern End of town; the Civilian Experience covers the Northern End.

This tour tells the story of those citizens who were caught up in the crossfire between the confederates and union soldiers. Story telling is exceptional.

What a wonderful tour! Bill was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and also made the tour fun! I highly recommend this tour with Bill! He also had no problem with us bringing our two dogs.
