I was in the Grand Canyon a few days ago on an absolutely awful day tour from Las Vegas... 5 hour bus trip both ways plus reviews saying it would stop five times along the way to dump people off at local tourist traps to the point that it ended up meaning only two hours for people to actually see the grand canyon. There was an option to “upgrade to a Hummer tour,” I went for it thinking “what the hell,” it ended up being this “Buck Wild” thing, and it ended up completely saving the day. It was 7 people in an open humvee speeding along to each good lookout point along the canyon, the guide took us off the beaten path to lookouts that he knew were better than the main touristy ones, and I’ve been on tours all over the world across four continents and this was the best tour guide that I ever had— I believe his name was “Stoney.” Nice, friendly, funny, extremely enthusiastic guy who knew everything about where he was taking us and what we were seeing. Phenomenal tour

What a great review, thank you for posting this! We agree that Stoney is nice, friendly, enthusiastic and he loves to share his passion for the Grand Canyon with our guests. We enjoy taking our guests to the best viewpoints in the Grand Canyon National Park, and choosing the stops that are not crowded with other visitors. We are so happy that what started for you as an awful day turned into a phenomenal tour! We rarely write reviews, however the Hummer Sunset Tour with Buck Wild was more than fantastic, it was amazing. This was our first time to the Grand Canyon and the sunset tour our first view or the most spectacular wonder (the word 'Grand' doesn't give it justice). Mark our Tour Guide, was also what made this trip very special, his sense of fun, knowledge, education and total commitment to everyone enjoying a very special time without question was the highlight. Do yourself a favour book with Buck Wild the hummer allows everyone a fantastic view of the canyon as you travel and Mark took the group to those places a little off the normal tourist track. As for sunset at the Grand Canyon, words cannot describe the magic. Thank you Mark, you made our trip just that little bit more special. 'Buck Yes'

We agree that it is SO hard to describe how truly magnificent the Grand Canyon is, but we're glad you experienced it with Buck Wild. Not only was our guide Mark savvy about all things Grand Canyon, but he was super kind helping everyone off the hummer, making sure we got the best photos, pointing out little known facts, but he also was great about taking time to talk to the kiddos as well as everyone else in our group. He went above and beyond for us! The Hummer ride itself was comfortable as well with a comfortable ride and great visibility. The retail shop was cute with great photo ops inside as well as a good selection of t'shirts and hats! SUPER FUN tour...Oh, and we took the sunset time frame.. Loved it all...
