We did the Sunset Tour with Marc Montana and it was perfect! First time we’ve been to the Grand Canyon, so it was a great introduction with a couple of spectacular views on the South Rim! Beautiful sunset view and the tour provided a blanket to sit on to watch as the sun went down. Marc was the perfect amount of fun, historic knowledge and incredibly friendly! Stadium seating in the Hummer is amazing- comfortable and doesn’t limit your views on the drive. 100% must do upon your arrival to the Grand Canyon!

First, the staff is great and very knowledgeable. This is more about the value of the experience which for us, wasn't great. If you have a car, you can hit all the same lookout points and you can do it at sunset or sunrise or anytime you want for that matter. The only differences are that you are in a huge Hummer, with the wind in your face. Lots of wind. And that your guide gives you some cool background information. If you can hear it above the wind, which we barely could. If you just want to get taken in the park without your car and get a quick tour of a few choice lookouts, go for it. If you're staying in the park like we were and had to drive out of the park to their starting point, only to be driven back in to the park, then you waste 40 minutes of your paid tour being driven back in, and back out again. Plus, they did a circle around the park village talking about the sites there which although mildly interesting, they are not views of the canyon. Of the remaining time in our 2 hour tour, we saw a few lookouts which were very grand, but all the back and forth along roads that you can just drive your car on for a $35 park pass a week, weren't. They go to the same places everyone else does on foot, by bike or by car.

I can't even begin to describe the wonderful experience we had with Stoney and Buck Wild Grand Canyon Hummer Tours. Stoney is very knowledgeable and very fun to tour with. He took us to places we wouldn't have known to go, and had us posing in some fun ways. The staff is also super friendly and very easy to work with. The hummer was open-air and so much fun to ride in. Don't look to any other tour companies; this is THE ONE!
