Skywalk

Disproportionate prices, parking then obligatory bus, very limited organization, the Skywalk being an option. There, search at the entrance and prohibition to take a camera or a telephone. The security guard to whom I ask how I can take photos, tells me that there are photographers. Poorly made photos for $25 each, not even printed but to be downloaded via an application. Total cost per person: approximately $100. A scandal, and in my opinion, obvious theft, especially since nothing justifies either these prices or this system. And I'm not yet talking about store prices. A well-established business that will leave us with a bitter taste.

We went to this part of the Grand Canyon because it was the closest to Las Vegas and it was worth it for the views. Spectacular photos from Guano Point. What is not worth it is the skywalk, very expensive for a viewpoint, they take away your cameras and cell phones and on top of that they charge you 25 dollars for one photo and 50 for several when the views are better from the other side.

For a short trip from Las Vegas and if you only have one day, the trip to Grand Canyon West is recommended. The view is really great. The only negative thing is the waiting time for the shuttle buses. The food supply is good. There are also souvenir shops.
