There was a little initial confusion with our reservation which ended with our flight time being changed to an afternoon time (originally booked a morning flight with Viator). I don't think Viator and the actual flight company have the best communication, so just be prepared for a possible call or email with request to change your reservation.
Other than the change (which really wasn't a big deal) the entire experience was great! We were picked up at our hotel (Encore) by a Mercedes van, shuttled to Bolder City tothe office. From the lobby of the office we were greeted by our pilot, who was a young and INCREDIBLY gorgeous girl, then taken to the helicopter. The entire flight was amazing and our pilot could not have been more accommodating and informative (AND did I mention pretty!!?). We stopped for a short time at the Hualapai Nation Reservation at the Grand Canyon and then re-boarded the helicopter for the return trip to Boulder City.
This was my first time to The Grand Canyon and would definitely recommend a trip like this (and booking with Viator) for anyone!! You wont be sorry!!
Absolutely fabulous trip . Would definitely recommend
The pilot and employees were great; however, the add said we would land by the Grand Canyon for ~40 min. I assumed that this meant that we would be close enough to take some good photos on foot, but we actually landed very far from the canyon at an indian reservation where all we could do was buy their souvenir and drink coffee. If Viator offers a trip through the grand canyon for less that doesn't "land" I would take that because the extra $50-100 to land was a rip-off.
