The guides at Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris will make every effort to showcase as many highlights as possible, and will structure the day around making your experience a memorable one. They will take current road conditions, weather, seasonality, and your personal interests into consideration as they move through the park.

  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
  • For groups of 14 guests or less: We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day safaris and a 14-day cancellation policy for all 2-3 day safaris. For multi-day safaris of 4 days or more, we have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a full refund with no penalty. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. For groups of 15 or more guests: We have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a refund minus a 10% fee. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance before your departure to protect you from incurring any costs associated with unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from joining us.

Our guide Colin was funny, personable, and knowledgeable. He interacted equally with all members of the tour and clearly had read our guest notes before he picked us up. He jumped right in to helping us seek out all of the requested wildlife we could find, while managing expectations. We immediately set out in search of moose, and saw that and more, finding osprey, elk, bison, and pronghorn. We gleefully "hunted" also for bear and mule deer, but were eluded. We were offered snacks frequently, restroom breaks happened at regular intervals, and the lunch was delicious! The picnic spread was laid out in the most beautiful setting. Our trip was easygoing and informative, all while learning about the area and life in Wyoming/Idaho. There was a real effort to include everyone in the group and help us find commonalities which made our tour much more comfortable. We talked amongst ourselves, not really feeling like strangers once our day was over. Colin talked about his kids some, and would indeed be a great tour guide for families as well, even though our group was only adults. Colin suggested nature apps for our phones, other locations for us to scout for photography, when to return to best photograph certain species, and even helped us with some settings & locations for Milky Way photography. We had a very capable and personable tour guide, Mr. Bob Adams. He provided an excellent experience. In spite of some inclement weather, we saw elk, eagles, pronghorn antelope and waterbirds, plus spectacular vistas and views of the area with the benefit of his expert and experienced commentary. It was well worth the effort and we would definitely do it again.

We had an amazing time doing the wildlife safari tour and snake river float tour. Colin was our guide and we had the best time! He was very knowledgeable, answered questions and lots of fun! It was a great start to our vacation. Would definitely recommend!!
