Ben got us set up really quickly and was super friendly making us feel comfortable and welcome. Chris took it from there and was a great instructor. We had a great time. In all the pictures it looks like the people in the lessons are surfing baby waves, but it doesn’t feel like that when you’re out there. As our group improved we seemed to get a bit further out where the waves were larger, but still got plenty of assistance from Chris. Other than being a good instructor and working hard to get us on as many waves as possible, he was just a cool dude and was fun to hang out with for a couple hours. I would definitely recommend surf lessons through this company and if I ever make my way back out to the big island I will be renting a board from here and going out to surf the bay with the skills I learned today. Thanks guys!

I don't normally write reviews but will make an exception here. If I could rate my experience higher than 5 stars I would. Ben and his team were great; super friendly and knowledgeable instructors that made you feel comfortable in the water and that you had learned and accomplished something by the time the lesson was over. It was a tonne of fun and I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for surf lessons while in Hawaii. I will definitely be back the next time I am (hopefully) on the Big Island.

Did a group surfing lesson from 830 to 1030 and had a blast! There were 3 instructors for 7 students which was nice. Ben, Matt, and Staffan were great and everyone was very comfortable with them! With their help, everyone was able to stand up and catch a wave. I was worried about falling in shallow water but shouldn’t have been. It was plenty deep. Make sure to put sunscreen on the back of your legs! Overall, very happy it was a great experience!
