We booked surf lessons for our 6 yr olds birthday and our first time to Maui. Purchasing was easy, we got emails and text messages with updates which was nice. We got there a little early and they got us started early which was great, we beat some of the crowds. Our instructor Sofie was amazing. Really personable, easy going and a great teacher. Our 3 boys and my husband each caught multiple waves and had a blast! They did have a photo package that was an add on at the end and wasn’t a required purchase, photos were amazing and we ended up getting them!

The experience will vary depending on the surf conditions. If you get Tobias you are in great hands and if the surf is good you will have an incredible time.

Great experience with Joaquin, it was my daughters first time ever surfing. 11ft Soft top board, Joaquin spent some time with us out of the water going over basics, then once in the water was patient and encouraging. We went later in the day about noon, the winds pick up around 2pm, it was a bit windy at noon but not enough to discourage us ! If you can I would recommend going earlier in the day. We like the company and location so much we changed our plans and went back the next day to rent boards and surf some more !
