Under the guidance of Captain Bill and team, our family of four enjoyed this trip immensely. Having been land locked on Orcas for the previous four days, the opportunity to just be out and experience the islands from the water is worth the price of admission, but then you add a pod of orcas and a bald eagle flying over a humpback flute and it goes to another level. The naturalists were great at engaging all of the passengers, but particularly the young kids, providing information about the wildlife and anecdotes about island life in general. Captain Bill's personality, knowledge and professionalism were all first rate and he welcomed the kids up into the cabin, a fact that impressed my 5 year old almost as much as the orcas. I think it worth mentioning that this is also an ethically run operation who prizes the comfort and safety of the animals it encounters, which are increasingly endangered in the area owing to diminished salmon populations. We would absolutely recommend them and look forward to touring with them again at the first opportunity.
