As a privately guided fishing charter, Reel Men Fishing Charters works to create lasting memories for our customers. We strive to make your fishing experience fun and entertaining.
We cannot guarantee the fish will bite, but we promise we will work hard to find the fish. Anglers will be fishing for the fish that are in season and biting along the jetties.
On this particular excursion, No specific species are targeted on the jetty trips, although we will provide the appropriate gear and bait for the season we are fishing. The North and South jetties extend 5 miles into the Gulf of Mexico and the jetty trips fish in this area.
Area of fishing includes the water between the Causeway Bridge and the end of the North and South Jetties

My family and I went out on the 4 hour jetty trip with Capt Vinny yesterday and had the best time! Capt Vinny knew all the best spots to fish and made my 9 year old son’s dream of catching a shark come true. He was great with both of my kids (9 and 12 years). We caught red fish and a ton of sand trout. I would definitely recommend this company and Capt Vinny. We will be back again.

I've been out with Capt Derek twice and neither time disappointed! A couple of years ago I went out with my boys and this time was with my friend. Both trips were successful in spite of me getting seasick! We landed sharks and red fish and had the time of our lives. Capt Derek was hilarious, fun and so knowledgeable about the Gulf. He made sure we had everything we needed and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were not only having fun, but also doing what we came to do...land some big ones. His knowledge of fishing, the Gulf of Mexico and the entire area in and around Galveston was incredible. It's no wonder Reel Men has become the number one fishing charter in the area! We'll definitely be back...again and again!
