Chip is a great guide! He was really funny and made us feel very safe. Overall we had a great time and can’t wait to come back! I definitely recommend this place for first time and experienced rafters.

A most excellent white water rafting trip for our whole family, ages 10 - 68. We visited CO for a week and knew that we wanted to do a 1/2 day trip on the water. I chose Journey Quest initially because they allowed children under the age of 14. Since we had a 10 & 12 yr old with us, this was important. Once I read the reviews, I knew that this was the company I wanted to sign up with. Because there were 9 of us, we needed 2 rafts. We had 4 in one and 5 people in the other. Our guides were, Chip and Hannah. I happened to be in Chip's raft along with my husband, our 22 yr old and our 20 yr old special needs grandson. We had a great trip and got to experience some level 4 waves! Chip was excellent in taking care of each of us and paid extra care to ensure that our grandson was a having a great time and was considered part of our team. Hannah was the guide in the other raft with our other 2 grandchildren, ages 10 & 12 and our son, daughter and her husband. They also thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The granddaughters said it was a highlight of our vacation! A final note, Journey Quest is a Christian based business. After reading the reviews and knowing that our younger grandchildren could take part in the trip, I have to say that knowing that the company is grounded in Christian principles, I wouldn't ever choose another company to raft with in the CO area. I have nothing but the highest respect for this company and for Chip, Hannah and those working at the office! Choose this company first when planning a white water rafting trip down the Arkansas River!!!
