Escape the hustle and bustle of Austin for a fun-filled trip to the Texas Hill Country! The Fitzhugh district of the Texas Hill Country approx. 35-45 minutes southwest of Austin. Hop on this half-day shuttle to spend the afternoon sampling craft beer and spirits at three (3) of the best breweries and distilleries in the area: Beerburg Brewing, Treaty Oak Distilling and Family Business Beer Co.

We’ll be your designated driver! A friendly local guide will escort you in a comfortable Mercedes Sprinter van. Plus, be sure to come hungry because each spot also offers a mouth-watering menu of delicious food options like pizza, tacos, and BBQ. Food and drinks not included.

The menu at Alice's Restaurant features Texas barbecue and comfort food in a serene hill country setting where it is nestled under giant 150 year old live oaks on the 28 acre Treaty Oak Distilling Ranch. At the bar, choose from beer, cocktails, tapped drinks, and the distillery’s experimental whiskeys. Our cocktails are made only with Treaty Oak Spirits and fresh ingredients that are kegged and served on tap, resulting in a perfectly balanced cocktail, every time.

The tour was a great chance to learn a bit about downtown Austin as well as to visit a few breweries and a distillery. The selection of locations was excellent. The best part I’d the tour was our guide Evan. He was very knowledgeable and very personable, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

We did the tour with Evan who was so much fun and great with our group of 9 ladies! The breweries we stopped at had some excellent beer/food and we even pivoted when one was too crowded! He gave us a lot of “Austin local” recommendations too so would recommend doing this on your first day so you have some good ideas where to go! Will definitely be back soon! Thank you Austin Detours and Evan!

Our guide, Ike, was so much fun and very knowledgeable about the restaurant and bar scene in Austin. We went out into the hill country to two different breweries and a distillery. Had some good beers and yummy cocktails. We made some terrific new friends, as well.
